We review the silhouette, measurements, denim composition, fabric weight, stretch level, wash, color, construction, and finishing requirements.
03 — Develop the Sample
A sample is developed around the agreed specifications so the fit, wash, construction, and design details can be reviewed.
04 — Review & Revise
Adjust fit, measurements, wash, fabric, construction, branding, or finishing details before production approval.
05 — Move Into Production
After approval, the style can move into bulk production with labels, hangtags, packaging, and U.S. fulfillment support when required.

What can I send to start a custom denim project?
You can start with a reference image, physical sample, sketch, tech pack, or an existing garment you want to modify. Include your target fit, wash, fabric direction, quantity, and any branding or construction requirements you already know.
Can you develop a denim fit from an existing pair of jeans?
Yes. A physical sample can be used as a reference for fit, measurements, leg shape, rise, pocket placement, and construction. Changes can then be made based on the fit and silhouette you want to develop.
Can the wash and color be developed separately from the fit?
Yes. Fit, fabric, color, wash, distressing, and finishing are separate parts of denim development. A style can be adjusted across these areas during sampling before production approval.
What denim details can be changed during development?
Depending on the project, development can include rise, inseam, leg opening, silhouette, pockets, waistband construction, seams, fabric composition, stretch level, wash, color, distressing, laser effects, labels, patches, and other garment details.
Do custom denim projects require a minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on the denim style, fabric, wash, construction, and production requirements. Custom denim development does not follow the same no-MOQ policy as our ready-to-order blanks. If you want to test a concept with lower commitment, you can start with an existing ready-to-order denim style.
What happens after the denim sample is approved?
Once the fit, fabric, wash, construction, branding, and other production details are approved, the style can move into bulk production. Labels, hangtags, packaging, and U.S. fulfillment can also be coordinated depending on the project.
